Dr. Kashif did his M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Analytical Chemistry in 1999 from A.M.U. Aligarh. He has worked as Project Assistant at Industrial Toxicology Research Centre - Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Govt. of India, Lucknow, till 2001 for a project entitled "Preparation of the State-of the Art Report on Persistent Organic Pollutants & Prior Informed Chemicals" funded by Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India. In September 2004 he got awarded his Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry in the research area of Pharmaceutical Analysis from A.M.U., Aligarh. He has worked as Research Officer [2005 to 2007] in the Analytical Chemistry Section of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Division at Glenmark Pharmaceutical's R&D Centre, Bombay. Dr. Kashif rendered his services to the Organic Intermediate Division R&D of Jubilant Organosys Ltd, Gajraula [U.P.] as Research Scientist-Analytical Research till November, 2009 and then after joined World Anti Doping Agency accredited National Dope Testing Laboratory, New Delhi, under Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports [Govt. of India] as Scientist-B in December 2009 and worked there till February 2014. Dr. Kashif has joined the Department of Chemistry, A.M.U. Aligarh as Assistant Professor in Analytical Chemistry in March 2014 and engaged in the teaching of Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry at Under Graduate & Post Graduate Level. Presently research scholar is enrolled with him for Ph.D. research work in the area of method development for pharmaceutical analysis. He has published research papers in the journals of international repute, IL FARMACO, Analytical Sciences, Bulletin of Japan Chemical Society, Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Drug Testing & Analysis and Journal of Molecular Liquids.
