Program educational objectives (PEOs) of postgraduates are:

  1. Graduates continue to learn chemistry in classrooms, and advance their careers through self-study, group discussion, seminar, industrial visit, internship, dissertation, and practical training in chemical laboratories.

  2. Graduates will be engaged in research projects to gain advance practical knowledge and research experience.

  3. To provide significant opportunities to make their future career in research and to get employment in academia and industries by advancing their theoretical and practical knowledge.


COURSE.PO :

At the end of the program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Understand the advance concepts of organic, physical, analytical, inorganic, and industrial chemistry, and their application.

  2. Execute innovative and critical thinking in chemical sciences, which they have developed from theory classrooms and practical labs.

  3. Identify the given chemical problems and analyse them using scientific tools.

  4. Interpret the data collected from an experiment.

  5. Communicate well with others, make effective presentations, and write scientific reports and documents.

  6. Handle analytical techniques such as UV-Vis and Fluorescence spectrophotometer, FTIR, Polarimeter, Chromatography etc.

  7. Understand the major thrust areas in chemical sciences to do their future doctorate and jobs in industries or academia.
