I specialized at M.A. in Medieval Indian History and did my Ph.D on 'Economy of Transport in Mughal India'. After that I worked on a research project on 'History of Horse, Cavalry and Horse Transport in India'. For my research I have made extensive use of sources in Persian and European languages. In fact, Persian was one of my school subject. So far fourteen articles mostly related to Mughal economy and technology have been published. I have won thrice the Prof. J.S. Grewal Prize in Medieval Indian History, awarded by the Indian History Congress. I am taking classes not only from my specialization but also on the various aspects of Indian history such as Rationalism and Science in Medieval India, Architectural Heritage of India, History of England etc.
