COURSE.PEO :

PEO-1:                      To develop fundamental background and training in scientific research in History including field surveys of historical monuments, archaeological sites and modern structures.

PEO-2:                      To provide opportunities to students to learn languages such as Persian, Arabic, Sanskrit, Dutch, French in order to study original sources for different aspects of ancient, medieval, modern and European history.

PEO-3:                    To encourage students to share their researches and invite suggestions in Weekly Seminars and publish their papers in the Journal of the Department and other institutions.

PEO-4:              To identify new areas of research particularly various aspects of Regional History, Science and Technology and undertake Cartographic researches in these areas of different periods.

PEO-5:               To design and conduct original research problems in their areas of specialization.

PEO-6:              To publish new researches in the form of research articles, monographs, books to highlight and demonstrate Department’s endeavours in historical researches.
