Dr. Atahar Husain is Associate Professor in the Department of History, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. I worked as Assistant Professor in History at Zakir Husain Delhi College Evening, University of Delhi, New Delhi. My specialization lies in Medieval Indian History and Regional History of Rajasthan, particularly socio-economic themes in eighteenth century Rajasthan including craft production system; marketing and financing patterns; craft persons' identities; social and ritual traditions.My research papers have been published in peer-reviewed and referred journals and edited books.
