I am a professor in the Department of Education,
AMU, Aligarh since 9th of May, 2015. Prior to joining AMU, I have served at one central (Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad) and one state university (Veer Bahdur Singh Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur) of India. My areas of interest include science education, assessment and evaluation, and teacher education. Over the last 25 years, I have published seven books, have contributed eleven chapters to edited books, have published 32 research papers in various journals, have published 5 Psychological Scales and have presented 76 papers at various national and international conferences and seminars. In my opinion, teachers are a key element in bringing material and spiritual advancement of India, which is why I have travelled throughout the length and breadth of the country to share my knowledge and experiences with them through various teachers’ training programmes at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. I have acted as a resource person in around
300 teachers’ training programmes and have delivered lectures as a guest
speaker on almost 60 other occasions.
For this purpose, I have chaired many sessions at national and international seminars and conferences, and I have also organised 60 teachers’ training programmes. Many universities have invited me to contribute to material development, and my various lectures are available on YouTube.
