- Prof. Mohd. Shamim is a Professor in the Department of Commerce, A.M.U., Aligarh. He completed his 10+2, B.Com (Hons.), Master of Finance and Control (MFC), and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Commerce, AMU. He was a topper in the Master of Finance and Control (MFC) program.
- Currently he is an Independent Director of UHM Vacations Pvt Ltd., Mumbai
- His research and teaching interests include Corporate Finance, Investment, Financial Derivatives, Research Methodology, and Applied Accounting & Statistics in Business Finance. He has published research papers in several Scopus-indexed journals, such as:

Prof. Shamim has authored a book on Financial Management and contributed several chapters in subjects like Management Accounting, Portfolio Management, Business Statistics, and Security Markets for the Centre of Distance Education, AMU.
