The Aligarh Muslim University is an internationally renowned leading residential university situated in west Uttar Pradesh.The university is one of the largest institution known for the educational and academic growth of Muslim community in particular and other communities in general .It offers quality education in all most all branches of learning. The university has several centers and faculties attached to it. Aligarh is famous for it,s lock industry and located approximately 135 kilometers in the east of delhi.The distance from Aligarh to historical place Agra is 90 kilometers. 

The department of education is one of the oldest department of Aligarh Muslim University.the department obtained it,s independent status in 1923 and it has still maintained it,s tradition of training along with equal emphasis on various fields of education .the department offers several academic courses like B.Ed., M.Ed., Diploma in Teaching Urdu,regular undergraduate and post graduate courses in education.Along with this, Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) is also part of academic course.
