Dr. Waseem Rizvi is working as Professor Department of Pharmacology J.N. Medical College, A.M. U. Aligarh. He has twenty years of teaching and research experience. For the past several years he is actively involved in screening of indigenous plants for biological activities like anti filarial, anti-inflammatory and hepato -protectives.The main focus of his research is to identify and isolate the active principles from the natural sources. He has forty-one publications in various journals like British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, European Journal Of Pharmacology, Phytomedicine, Journal of Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine, Journal of Natural Remedies. Supervised eleven M.D thesis and published a working laboratory manual on experimental and clinical pharmacology.
