Parveen Farooquie, presently a Professor in Industrial and Production Engineering, has joined the Department in 1994. She did her doctorate on Supply Chain Management. Earlier she had graduated in Mechanical Engineering followed by masters in Industrial & Production Engineering from AMU, Aligarh. Her areas of interest for teaching include  Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering and Engineering Economy & Management. She has contributed to conferences and journals on the subjects related to Industrial Engineering and Management.

She is also looking after the University Women's Polytechnic as Principal.
