Dr. Rashid Zafar obtained his B. Tech from AMU in Mechanical Engineering and M. Tech from IIT Kanpur in Aerospace Engineering (Structures). He has completed his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He has been awarded Academic Excellence Award at IIT Kanpur during his M. Tech. His research interests are in the field of continuum mechanics, Surface elasticity, and Nonlinear FEM.
