Guided four PhD theses in the areas of Sociolinguistic Variation,Spelling errors and Comparative Linguistics.Published several papers in rnational Journals of linguistics and also published two books.Participated in national Seminars,conferences,and workshops also presented scholarly papers.Also acted as Organising secretary and coordinator to various departmental actvities such as admission tests,sessional tests and scrutinizing of examination answer cpies. Also memember of the editorial Board of AJOL of the Dept. of Linguistics.
