Apply linguistic tools and data in other disciplines like language teaching, computations, speech therapy, forensic sciences and others.
Develop an awareness regarding language variation and change, linguistic diversities, multilingualism and their role in constructing social identity.

- To produce descriptive and theoretical analysis of sound systems, word structure and sentence structure across language families with special reference to Indian Languages.

- To be able to prepare grammars and dictionaries.
