Dr. Mohammad Salman Shah is a Fellow of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh.
He completed his MBBS in 2003 and MD in Community Medicine in 2007, both from JNMC, AMU. With 18 years of teaching experience, Dr. Shah has been actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
His major areas of interest include Health Systems, Non-Communicable Diseases (Diabetes & Hypertension), Health Management, and Medical Education. He has been invited as a Guest Speaker by various academic bodies and professional institutions.
Dr. Shah was a member of the team that received the Gold Medal from the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) for outstanding Health Promotion Activities. He has numerous research publications in reputed national and international journals, including the Indian Journal of Community Medicine, Indian Journal of Preventive and Social Medicine, Australasian Medical Journal, Journal of Infection in Developing Countries, and Current Pediatric Research.
He has also been the recipient of several awards, notably:

Best Oral Presentation Award at IAPSM UP-UK in 2016 and 2025, and

Best Project Proposal Presentation Award at an International Course at St. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore, jointly organized by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, USA, under the Obama–Singh Knowledge Initiative, held from 4–15 January 2016.
