Nodal Center for ISRO-START Program


The Interdisciplinary Department of Remote Sensing and GIS Applications, AMU, Aligarh, has been designated a nodal centre to conduct the ISRO-START training programs since 20.07.2023. Space Science and Technology Awareness Training (START) is an introductory online training program in space science and technology for undergraduate and postgraduate students in science and technology, conducted by ISRO scientists. The programme covers various space science domains, including astronomy, planetary sciences, heliophysics, atmospheric sciences, microgravity-related studies and space technology and is conducted online through:

The department conducts the online courses offered by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun.
