About the Department
The Department
of Electricity was established in 1962 to manages over all electrical
infrastructure of the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The Department is managing
complete electrical network and committed to provide untreated power supply to the
departments, offices, Hall of residences and Staff residences at the University
through its 25 sub-stations.
To enhance its
services and better management of electrical infrastructure the department was
bifurcated in two sections in 1976.
The two sections are:
- Supply Service Section
- Works & Maintenance
