The following databases are useful for conducting literature searches to support research work on health and allied disciplines. Google Scholar	Journal Citations & Full-Texts	Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes  the full-text and metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines.
Semantic Scholar	Journal Article Citations & Full-Texts	Semantic Scholar is a free AI-powered academic search engine that allows you to search millions of scholarly articles for academic content. It is a good alternative to Google Scholar.

GRAMMARLY - an English writing assistance tool is being subscribed by Maulana Azad Library. To create an account, faculty members (click here) and Research Scholars (click here) are requested to submit the Google Form. After submission of form, users will receive an auto-generated email from the Grammarly to activate the account.  

REFREAD (AMU E-Library) – A digital library platform containing three main features Knowledge Discovery/Single Window Search Facility, Off Campus Access Facility and Mobile App is being subscribed by Maulana Azad Library to provide access to the subscribed e-resources i.e. Journal articles, e-books, e-contents and databases etc.  from anywhere within/outside the campus. In order to create an account, all faculty members, research scholars and students are requested to submit the Google Form (Click here). After submission of form, users will receive the necessary login credentials to activate the account.

TURNITIN – A Plagiarism Detection Facility is being subscribed by Maulana Azad Library. Faculty members and research scholars of AMU can use this facility to check plagiarism in research articles, dissertation, book chapters, reports etc. by their own.  To create an account, faculty member (click here) and research scholars (click here) are requested to submit the Google Form. After submission of form, users will receive an auto-generated email from the Turnitin to activate the account.

provided by UGC for similarity check of all document types, such as research papers, thesis, dissertations, book chapters, and full-fledged books, etc. Students are advised to send their own document only to malcom.amu@gmail.com for plagiarism check mentioning their name, enrollment number, course, department, supervisor's/teacher's name and email along with scanned copy of their ID card/admission/continuation card.

MENDELEY is free reference management software, developed to create and manage bibliographies and citations for research papers. It combines Mendeley Desktop, a PDF and reference management application (available for Windows, OS X and Linux), along with Mendeley Web, an online version to synchronize and share your research work.

RESEARCHRABBIT: ResearchRabbit is an online ‘citation-based literature mapping tool.’ It is a visual literature review software mapping tool that helps to create collections based on their research focus by finding similar papers. You can also explore additional works by the paper’s authors.

QUILLBOT:- Maulana Azad Library has subscribed the institutional access of QuillBot premium version. Faculty members and Research Scholars (3rd year onwards) who wish to use the QuillBot are requested to complete the registration form for account creation. SciFlow: SciFlow is an online scientific writing and publishing platform that helps researchers, faculty members, and students create, collaborate on, and format academic documents with ease. It offers professional templates, automated citation management, real-time collaboration, and journal-specific formatting, enabling users to prepare manuscripts, theses, and research reports efficiently while ensuring compliance with academic publishing standards.
