Moidur Rahman has specialized himself in the field of literary criticism.He has worked on comparative study of critical theories of east and west.He is having back ground of oriental language and literature .He uses very precise and chaste language .His articles has appeared in distinguished journals of urdu.At present he is co-editing an important journal IMROZ which shows his interest in contemporary literature .He has translated also many articles from english to urdu.
