Program Educational Objectives (PEO's) :
General/Functional Urdu programme runs with the main courses of Urdu literature for graduate students offered by the University. The main objectives of the courses are to impart appropriate knowledge and develop an understanding of the Urdu language as well as of Urdu literature in general. The functional Urdu courses aim to provide general understanding of the Urdu language for administrative purposes and for official work. An aim of the courses of Urdu literature is to improve the knowledge of the history of Urdu literature with special reference to Urdu prose and poetry.
Program Outcomes (PO's) :
After the completion of the B.A programme, students will be able to communicate in Urdu at the professional level. This will enable them to work and associate themselves with government offices in order to find employment under the official language policy.
The language and literature both will help to develop the communication as well as the writing skills of the students.
