- Dr. Md. Ramjan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at the Centre of Agricultural Education, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh from 2022 to present. He earned his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Horticulture from Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT), Banda, Uttar Pradesh (2012–2016), followed by an M.Sc. in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, Manipur (2016–2018), through the prestigious ICAR-JRF. He further pursued his Ph.D. in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from the same university (2018–2022), during which he was awarded the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) by the UGC. Dr. Ramjan has successfully qualified the ICAR/ASRB-NET in Vegetable Science in both 2018 and 2021. He worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project titled “Network Project for Establishment of Disease-free Elite Khasi Mandarin and Sweet Orange Genetic Stock through Shoot Tip Grafting (STG) & Mass Production of Quality Planting Materials” at the College of Horticulture and Forestry, CAU, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, from September 8, 2021, to March 24, 2022. He has guided Master’s students in Horticulture and has made significant academic contributions, having authored 2 books, published 21 research papers in reputed national and international journals, 23 popular articles, 2 practical manuals, and 2 compendiums. Dr. Ramjan has also presented numerous papers at national and international seminars and conferences, and actively participated in various training programs and workshops, further enhancing his academic and professional credentials.
