I am currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive & Social Medicine), Faculty of Unani Medicine. With a teaching career spanning since 2005, I hold an MD in Hifzane Sehat, reflecting my specialization in the concerned discipline. Further strengthening my academic profile, I have obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Informatics from Apollo, along with a Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education. I have further enhanced my skill by successfully completing several IT-related certification courses. Additionally, I have successfully completed three online CME certifications from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, demonstrating my engagement with global standards of healthcare education and continuous professional development. In recognition of my contributions to teaching and education, I was honored with the prestigious Shiksha Ratan Puruskar (2010).
I have authored Two Books and having more than sixty research publications in reputed National and International journals, I have established a consistent and impactful scholarly presence in the field. Also published health related articles in more than thirty five renowned International and National Health Magazines such as Safety Express Journal, U.K., Beverage & Food World Journal, Everyman's Science Journal, Science Reporter and Positive Health Magazine, UK.
Being an Associate Editor of Unani Medicus International Journal, International Journal of Pharma. & Chinese Medicine (IPCM), Medwin Publishers, Editor, Alternative Medicine & Chiropractic Journal, USA., Member of Editorial Board of World Journal of Public Health, New York, U.S.A my contributions extend to mentoring authors, refining research presentations and upholding ethical standards in scientific publishing.
Presented research papers at more than thirty National and International conferences and seminars. In addition, I have participated in over twenty workshops, enhancing my academic, research and pedagogical competencies through continuous skill development.
I possess extensive
teaching experience at the postgraduate level in the field of Tahaffuzi wa
Samaji Tib (Preventive & Social Medicine), with a focus on academic
excellence and research-oriented learning. Apart from this, I also possess
substantial teaching experience in Tibbe Qanoon (Forensic Medicine). I have
been actively involved in delivering comprehensive lectures, guiding students
through medico-legal concepts and integrating theoretical knowledge with
practical case-based discussions.
Seven postgraduate theses successfully guided in the capacity of
Supervisor and Co-Supervisor, reflecting sustained academic mentorship and
scholarly leadership.
