I completed my M.Sc. in Operations Research in 1990, securing a Post Graduate Merit Scholarship, and completed my Ph.D. in 1996 under the supervision of Prof. M.M. Khalid, focusing on “Programming with Random Parameters.” During my doctoral research, I was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship. With 30 years of teaching experience, I had taught a wide array of courses in Statistics, Operations Research, and Computer Programming languages such as BASIC, C, and FORTRAN. My scholarly contributions include numerous research papers published in esteemed national and international journals. I was also the recipient of the UGC-BSR Research Start-Up Grant (F.30-90/2015(BSR), FD Diary No. 11767, dated 02-03-2015) in recognition of my research potential. My research interests lie in stochastic programming, modeling under uncertainty, Fuzzy Programming, Supply Chain Management, Total Quality Management and computational optimization techniques.
