Dr. Ahmadur Rahman is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics & Operations Research at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He also worked at The NorthCap University, Gurugram. He has more than seven years of teaching experience. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Aligarh Muslim University on the topic “Analysis of Mathematical Models in Accelerated Life Testing”. He received the Maulana Azad National Fellowship(MANF) during his Ph.D. His area of research is Reliability, Life Testing, and Econometrics. He has published more than 22 papers in national and internationally reputed journals. Apart from that, he has published three book chapters. He has read/presented several papers at national and international conferences; one of them was presented at the University of Bahrain. He received his B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. Statistics degree from A.M.U. He also received a PG Merit Scholarship during his master’s degree.
