Dr. Qazi Zaid Ahmad presently holds the esteemed position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Saidla (Unani Pharmacy) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) India. He obtained his BUMS from AMU and later pursued an MD from NIUM in Bangalore, amassing over 15 years of experience in academia, research, and the Unani pharmaceutical industry.
His scholarly pursuits encompass the study of classical texts and manuscripts, the remodeling of dosage forms, drug design and discovery, formulation development, both experimental and clinical research. Dr. Ahmad has been an active participant in approximately 35 conferences and workshops, and he has contributed 45 research papers and chapters to distinguished journals and books. Furthermore, he is the author of a significant book, translated into six languages, reflecting his unwavering commitment to advancing the field of Unani medicine. His prior role as In Charge of the MBP at Hamdard Laboratories further underscores his expertise and valuable contributions to the discipline.

Redesigning of the Dosage form of Majoon Dabidul Ward and Majoon-e- Flasifa into Tablet form along with their Physicochemical and pharmacological evaluation, sponsored by CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
Study of some compound drugs in experimentally induced hepatitis like condition to explore their protective, curative and regenerative potential; sponsored by CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
