Born in 1980 in Aligarh, completed secondary education from A.M.U. City High School in 1995 and senior secondary education from Senior Secondary School for Boys, Aligarh Muslim University in 1997. Earned the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) degree with First Division from Aligarh Muslim University.

Secured first position in the postgraduate entrance examination and joined the Department of Moalejat, A.K. Tibbiya College, as a postgraduate scholar. Completed M.D. (Moalejat) during the 2008–2009 session and was awarded the University Medal for securing first position in the final examination.

Started academic career in April 2009 at Aligarh Unani & Ayurvedic Medical College. Subsequently served in the Department of Moalejat, A.K. Tibbiya College, AMU, as Assistant Professor from November 2011 to January 2012, later joining as Guest Faculty in February 2012 and continuing thereafter as Assistant Professor.

Research interests primarily include Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), with a focus on integrating traditional Unani concepts with contemporary medical science. Teaching emphasizes clinical relevance and practical aspects of disease diagnosis. Research contributions include publications in reputed journals and active participation in academic and professional activities.
