Dr. Ataullah Fahad is Associate Professor in the Department of Ilmul Amraz (Unani Pathology), Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, and curriculum development in Unani pathology. He served as Chairman of the UG Syllabus Framing Committee and Member of the PG Syllabus Framing Committee of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), contributing to national curriculum reforms. He developed and launched a 12-week MOOC titled “Mahiyatul Amraz (Unani Pathology)” on the NPTEL–SWAYAM platform, which attracted nearly a thousand learners in its first cycle. Dr. Fahad has authored over 45 research papers and several scholarly articles in indexed and peer-reviewed journals, focusing on classical Unani concepts such as Su’-i-Mizaj, Imtila, and Uroscopy with efforts toward scientific correlation. He has supervised multiple MD dissertations, continues to guide postgraduate scholars, and also serves as an NCISM–QCI Assessor and Institutional Visitor.
