He has been serving the Department of Electronics Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University since more than 26 years; and as Professor since 2013.
Prior to joining AMU, he served Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur (India), as Lecturer.
He is the author of a book published by Taylor and Francis (CRC Press, 2023), entitled "Analog Circuit Design using Current mode Techniques".
The same is available in three versions: as hardback (July 2023), eBook (July 2023) and paperback (December 2024) versions. It has been recently ceremonially released during Department's flagship conference IMPACT-2026.
He continues to figure in top 2% world scientists' list in the subject area for the last five consecutive years (source: Elsevier and Standard University findings):

The courses taught and designed during last three decades cover subjects related to analog and digital circuits. His research area relates to the design of Analog Signal Processing circuits using current-mode techniques. He has published more than 180 research papers, which includes more than 120 referred and high impact factor International Journal papers. He is also the author of several book Chapters. He has guided more than 25 Master's Projects/Dissertations and 5 candidates for Ph. D. Thesis. He has been examiner for Ph. D. Thesis evaluation of several candidates from other institutions. He serves as invited reviewer for several SCI/Scopus indexed Journals. He also served (2023-2026) on the Editorial Board of IETE Journal of Education (Taylor & Francis).
