Ms. Nazia Begum has joined the Department of Fashion Design & Garment Technology, Community College, as an Assistant Professor in 2018 and has been working as a Guest Teacher (Contractual) since April 2021. She is actively engaged in teaching B.Voc. and M.Voc. (Fashion Design & Garment Technology). She has done a short course in Fashion CAD. She has 13 years of teaching as well as industrial experience. She completed her graduation in home science from Kurukshetra University, a post-graduation diploma in fashion design from Punjab University, and M.Sc in fashion technology from Punjab Technical University in 2005, 2006 and 2009, respectively. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in fashion design from Banasthali University Rajasthan. Her area of interest includes garment construction, pattern making, CAD, apparel designing, etc. Presently, she is looking forward to putting her knowledge and skills into the lifelong progress and development of students for the development of the Department and the university.
