Mohammad Idris obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree and Master's degree in Civil (Building Engineering) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Besides this, he did one Certificate course and two Diploma courses, viz, Certificate in Draftsmanship, Diploma in Drafting and Designing and Diploma in Architectural Assistantship with honors and 2nd rank from this University. He started his career as a Draftsman in Drafting and Designing section, University Polytechnic and become as a Assistant Professor. Now he has been looking after various departmental construction and repair & maintenance works including supervision and construction of two new Multistoreyed buildings. His innovating teaching, a combination of academic and practical experience work, made him extremely popular among his students.
