Azra Musavi has a Masters & MPhil. in Economics, & PhD. in Sociology. She teaches papers related to Economy, Environment & Research Methodology at undergraduate & post graduate levels in Women's Studies. She supervises PhD. students & conducts interdisciplinary research. Three of her students have been awarded PhD. in Economics & one in Women's Studies. She has also supervised two PDFs in Women's Studies. Azra has implemented Major Research Projects funded by UGC, MoEF&CC, USFWS & UPFD - World Bank. She has completed 08 Major Projects & has 02 ongoing Projects. Her work has focused on marginalised communities. She has authored one book & edited three books.
