B. A. (Hons.) Philosophy is an undergraduate philosophy course. The course outlines fundamental problems related to values, reason, mind, language, knowledge etc. It is six semester degree course. After successful completion of the course candidate can obtain several career opportunities.

This six semester degree course enables students to opt many career opportunities like Civil Service, Law Companies, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relation Agencies, Philosophical Counseling, Creative Writing, Teaching, Editing, Publishing, Therapist etc.

COURSE.PEO :

  • To introduce the students with the nature and scope of branches of Philosophy such as Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, Logic, Aesthetics, and Religion.
  • To familiarize students with the fundamental issues of three streams of Philosophy i.e., Indian Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, and Western Philosophy.
  • To acquaint students with different philosophical methods to develop critical and rational thinking.
  • To sensitize and inculcate humanistic values, interfaith dialogue, religious and cultural co-existence among students to make them a responsible citizen.
  • To develop effective communication skills among the students.
