Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery  is actively involved in providing its services to poor and needy patients suffering from congenital and acquired defects of  maxillofacial region. The enthusiastic team of the department individually and in association with foreign teams work together to serve humanity with significant improvement in the quality of life of poor and destitute patients.

 A key component of our outreach is that our services are not only stationary but mobile also.  In the past, many years' large number of children and adults suffering from cleft lip, palate and both have been successfully treated. The Interplast Germany and Aachen University Hospital, Aachen, Germany are our key supporters from abroad.
Dr. Dr. Dent Med Alireza Ghassemi and Dr. Dr. Modabber Ali has successfully led their team in Aligarh Muslim  University Campus Camp.

The Department also organizes blood donation cmps on the occasion of  Internation Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day on 13^th February.

The department also organizes dental health checkup in schools and
schools in slum
areas. Due to our efforts, the department is able fill in the gap in the services provided by mainstream services and is often carried out by NGOs.
