An Extension Lecture entitled “Importance of Advanced Research Instruments in Unani Medicine” was delivered by Prof. Sayeed Ahmad, Director, Centre of Excellence in Unani Medicine (Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology), Head, Department of Food Technology, In-charge, Bioactive Natural Product Laboratory, and Professor of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, on 27^th February, 2025 at the Conference Room, Department of Ilmul Advia, A.K. Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The lecture was delivered during the One-Day National Workshop on “Hands-on Training on Instruments Used for Research in Unani Medicine (UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Organ Bath, Laminar Flow, etc.)”.

• Dr. Rod Blackhirst, Specialist in Ancient Greek Learning, La Trobe University, delivered an invited talk on “Greco-Islamic Medicine and Traditional Cosmology” in 2008.

• Dr. Rod Blackhirst, Specialist in Ancient Greek Learning, La Trobe University, also delivered an invited talk on “Greco-Islamic Medicine & Plato” in 2008.

• Prof. R. Stefan Reichmuth, Director, Institute of Islamic Studies & Islamic Sciences, Ruhr University, delivered an invited talk on “Between Medical Canon and Belles Lettres: The Fate of Case History in Greco-Arabic Medicine” in 2009.

• Dr. M. Khalid, Directorate of ISM&H, Government of NCT of Delhi, delivered an invited talk on “Important Provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954” in 2010.

• Prof. Asad U. Khan, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an invited talk on “Antimicrobial Resistance: Silent Pandemic – One Health Approach to Tackle” on 18 November 2024 during the celebration of World AMR Awareness Week–2024.

• Prof. Fatima Khan, Department of Microbiology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an invited talk on “Antimicrobial Stewardship: Our Role in Combating Resistance and Shaping the Future” on 21 November 2024 during the celebration of World AMR Awareness Week–2024.

• Prof. Abdul Latif, Former Chairman, Department of Ilmul Advia and Former Coordinator, DRS-I (SAP-II), U.G.C., delivered an invited talk on “Unani Herbal Antibiotic/Antimicrobial: A Need of the Day” on 22 November 2024 during the celebration of World AMR Awareness Week–2024.

• Prof. Mohammad Owais, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an invited talk on “Role of Immunostimulants in Combating AMR” on 23 November 2024 during the celebration of World AMR Awareness Week–2024.

Extension Lecture on “Quality Standards of ASU Drugs and Role of PCIM&H” was delivered by Dr. Raman Mohan Singh, Director, Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (PCIM&H), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, on 26 October 2024 (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. at the College Auditorium, Department of Ilmul Advia, A.K.
