About the Centre
Centre of Professional Courses (CPC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is an institution which offers over two dozen of professional and technical academic programs of multiple durations ranging from one year to three years mainly in the fields of Engg., Medicine including Unani medicine, Mgmt., Law, Commerce, Social Sciences, Science, Agriculture Sciences etc for students & also for working professionals. Centre was established in 1972 with the sole aim of providing job-oriented & industry/ corporate/ market-relevant education to the youths. It’s being headed by Prof. Mohd Asif Khan since 2019 & has been quite successful in achieving the objectives concerned. The CPC has well-equipped labs, studios & classrooms to provide professional cum technical instructions & practical training to students. Centre also has a placement cell which helps students find jobs after completing their studies. Centre is an integral part of the main campus of AMU, Aligarh (UP) India. The AMU campus is spread over an area of around 1,000 acres and has a number of historical buildings besides one of the best libraries of the world. |
