| Academic Events Workshop Series on Communication Skills Development, 9-14 February 2021 Workshop Series on Communication Skills Development ( online ) was organized by University Polytechnic in collaboration with REsolv Corporation USA & University Polytechnic held on 9-14 February 2021. The University Polytechnic, AMU had organized a 5 -day (Online) workshop series on Communication Skills Development from 9-14 February, in collaboration with the REsolv Corporation, Massachusetts, the USA to help the students hone their communication skills. The Inaugural function held was attended by Prof Parvez Mustajab, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology as Chief Guest, Prof Arshad Umar, Principal, University Polytechnic, Mr. Syed Ali Rizvi, President REsolv Corporation, USA, faculty members and students. Prof Pervez Mustajab emphasized the need for effective communication skills for the students of Engineering for better placements and higher studies. Mr. Syed Ali Rizvi (philanthropist and an alumnus of AMU), highlighted the idea of giving back to Alma Mater. Prof Arshad Umar reiterated the significance of English Communication skills for the Polytechnic students as most of them come from Hindi/Urdu medium backgrounds. Dr. Areeba Shabbir the convener for REsolv Education and Training Programs conducted the inaugural session. Ms. Sameera (Associate Professor) proposed the vote thanks. Online Workshop on INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & PATENT FILING, 30th September 2020 In Association with RGNIIPM Nagpur & RIPA (30th September 2020, from10:30 AM) After successful participation in this workshop, the participants of the workshop was able to understand the Intellectual Property; Intellectual Property rights and procedures to convert the research outcome into patents. This workshop also brought a positive transformation in the attitude of faculty members and research scholars in their project and research works and got them more focused as well as result-oriented, and made them familiar with the process for further commercialization/ technology transfer.
