House Building Loan Section

FINANCE & ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT

The House Building Loan Section of Finance & Accounts Department functions for the distribution of House Building Advance to the Permanent employees of the University for the purpose to build, renovate or purchase their houses/flats as per rules, which further is followed by monthly deductions from the salary of the loanee. At present, the rate of interest on House Building Advance up to ₹25,00,000/- is 7.10%, effective from 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The other works of the Section includes:-

• Investment of surplus money of HBL account in the form of FDR's and STDR's.

• Maintaining audit reports. 

• To prepare the Annual statement no.04 & 05.

• Timely report of investment to the Executive Council, in its meeting.
