AMU Special Centre-Nodal Office

The Nodal Office AMU Centres was established at AMU main campus to coordinate with all outside Centres and facilitate their functioning from main campus. It was also needed in the AMU main campus to maintain an effective liaison with the government agencies with regard to affairs of these Centres.

Prof. H.S. Yahya, Department of Wild Life Sciences was appointed as the first OSD, AMU Centres Nodal Office. Later Prof. Javaid Akhter, Department of Business Administration; Prof. Parvaiz Talib, Department of Business Administration, Prof. Mohammed Arif, Department of Civil Engineering, Prof. Anwar Khursheed, Department of Civil Engineering, Mr. Abdul Hamid (IPS), Registrar, AMU Aligarh, (Late) Prof. Mohd Shakeel Ahmed (Samdani),  Mr. Abdul Hamid (IPS), Registrar, Aligarh Muslim University,  Aligarh and Prof. Iqbal Ali Khan, Department of Law have served as the Coordinator, Nodal Office AMU Centres.
