• Finalization of the agenda for the Finance Committee, including correspondence and follow-up actions on the Committee's decisions.

• Preparation of the Annual Report pertaining to University finances.

• Responses to Audit Objections and Audit Memos issued by Government Auditors concerning the Budget Section.

• Allocation of Departmental Development Charges and associated correspondence.

• Processing and updating of budget expenditure information on the websites of the Ministry of Education, UGC, and other relevant agencies.

• Collection of data from various Sections/Offices and its upload to the web portal of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Education.

• Management, uploading, and updating of the Budget Section’s content on the AMU website.

• Formulation of replies to Parliamentary Questions (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) related to the Budget Section.

• Handling of matters related to HEFA (Higher Education Financing Agency) proposals.

• Management of the FSCM Module under the Samarth Cloud Version.

• Fulfillment of duties assigned to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) and Section Officer of the Budget Section.

• Execution of any additional tasks assigned by the Assistant Finance Officer (AFO) and other superiors.
