Standard Operating Procedures

1.     Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies, Aligarh Muslim University operates as per the guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and PWD Act 2016.

2.     Office of the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies takes up the internal Grievances of PWD students, directly on web portal or through volunteers on WhatsApp group. Office resolves the problems of students as per guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and PWD Act-2016.

3.     Office Staff helps in procuring gadgets and special devices for physically challenged persons through open tendering process on GEM.

4.     Unit Staff facilitates University in disposals of all RTI’s and external Grievances lodge with the Court of Commissioner New Delhi, under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

5.    
Unit has Standard Monitoring Committee to look after the Employment Roster Register maintained for PWD candidates and process the scrutiny of employment forms as per eligibility criteria for various categories of Disabilities.
