Complete CV

I am working as a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Zoology in Aligarh Muslim University. I have completed my Ph.D. from the Banaras Hindu University and post-doctoral research from the University of Allahabad. my research expertise is in the field of Aquatic toxicology and Ecophysiology dealing with heavy metal, nanoparticles, and dye pollution. I am also associated with the bioremediation of pollutants from contaminated water (Phytoremediation and Mycoremediation). I have published more than 30 original research articles in reputed International Journals like Chemosphere, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Journal of Trace elements in Medicine and Biology, etc. I am the member of many scientific societies like Indian Science Congress, Indian Society for Comparative Endocrinology and Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry. Further, I am also associated with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at AMU. I serves as an editorial member and reviewer of several International Journals. Furthermore, I have received research grants from national agencies like UGC and CSIR.
