Dr. Shehnoor Shan earned her PhD in English Literature from the Aligarh Muslim University. She is the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, and has worked as a Fulbright Fellow and Cultural Ambassador at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. In Masters she received two University Gold Medals for standing 'first in first'  in Class of English. During her PhD, she was invited by the Birkbeck University of London to present her Research Paper and Chair a session on “Artistic Reflections and Spaces”. Many of her poems are published at international platforms. For her contribution to the field of creative writing, she was awarded the Qaisar Jahan Memorial Award by the Aligarh Muslim University. She works as an English Editorial Fellow at the Foundation for Evidence Based Development in India and also as a Resource Person in UGC Human Resource Development Centre, where she guides and mentors Fulbright Fellowship aspirants with their applications.
