Dr. Saba Parween (Ph.D, M.Phil, M.A) currently serving as Guest Faculty in the Department of Linguistics at Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Aligarh Muslim University, with a research focus on needs analysis in English language teaching. She also holds an M.Phil. in Linguistics from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, and an M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) in Linguistics from AMU, where she secured second position in her postgraduate studies. She qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2020.
Dr. Saba has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at AMU. Her areas of interest include language teaching and testing, corpus linguistics, phonetics, morphology, and historical linguistics. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and has presented her work at national and international conferences. She is a recipient of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship by the University Grants Commission for the session 2016-2020.
