Prof. Razia K. Zaidi joined this prestigious institution as a student of primary school section of A.M.U. Since then she is associated with this great institution of learning. After achieving a throughout first class in academics, she joined Ph.D. in plant pathology & nematology section of Botany Department, AMU. She was awarded JRF and SRF (CSIR). Her field of interest is seed pathology. She worked extensively on seed health testing procedures & seed borne diseases of legumes & cereals & their eco-friendly management, biochemical analysis, study of the deterioration of nutrient value and reduction in dietary antioxidants due to secretion of mycotoxins. Based on the above aspects a large no. of papers are being published in national & international journals like Archives of plant pathology & plant protection (Taylor and Francis, UK), Annals of Biologhical RFeseatrch (USA), e-Journal of Science and Technology (Technological Educational Institute of ATHENS), International Journal of Agriculture and Science Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Trends in Life Sciences DAMA International, Journal of Indian Botanical Society, Journal of Scientific Research, Seed Science & Technology etc. Invited lectures & papers on the relevant topics were presented in diff. national & international conferences. Prof. Zaidi is actively engaged in teaching of various classes at this institution since last 30 years.
