Since January Nineteen Seventy Four, I have been teaching English to the literature and communicative English students at both the undergraduate and post graduate level in Women's College and the Department of English Aligarh Muslim University. My field of specialization is drama and I have done doctorate on Arthur Miller I have been teaching Shakespeare and American dramatists Tennessee Williams, Edward Albee and British and Continental dramatists such as Arnold Wesker, Samuel Beckett and Pirandello. Though I teach British and American poets as Dickinson, Whitman, Frost my second preference is novel. I have successfully supervised two research scholars and virtually supervised a colleague's research which has been duly acknowledged by her in the thesis. At present there are four research students working with me. I have written a book each on Arthur Miller and Pirandello. My articles have appeared in journals such as Points of View. The Aligarh Journal of English Studies brought out by the Department of English, Journal of Faculty of Arts, and Readings.
