Presently working as Professor in Botany and has been taking undergraduate classes since 1984. I have been teaching all the courses of Botany at undergraduate level like Cytology, Ecology, Mycology, Biochemistry etc. Field of research interested is Plant Nemotology/Plant Pathology. I have submitted my thesis on the impact of two common heavy pollutants, Cd and Pb on the roof knot Nematode, Meloidogyne, Incognita and its pathogenicity and control on tomato, Lycopersicon esculetem. Effect of heavy metals on the protein profile of females of Meloidogyne incognita has been studied. Besides I have also done varietal screening of different crops viz., tomato, rajmash and pea etc. Management of disease complex and pathogens has been carried out by using botanical amendments.
