I have about 12 years of teaching experience. I worked in Iqra Public School, Aligarh for about 3 ½ years since January 2009 and thereafter, I joined the AMU Girls’ School from November 2012. During my stay in Iqra Public School, I have taught Science, mainly Biology, EvD and EvS to classes IX and X. I was the class teacher of Class IX and X when the Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation system was introduced. In AMU Girls’ High School, I have taught Life Science to Secondary classes and Botany to Senior Secondary classes. In 2015, I joined the STS School as a PGT (Life Science) and since then I am continuing in the same post. I am engaged in teaching Life Science to Secondary and Senior Secondary classes and other science subjects to the lower classes. All throughout my career, besides teaching, I have been actively involved in co-curricular and extra- curricular activities in the schools concerned. I am a highly enthusiastic Life Science Teacher with great zeal in managing students and maximizing learning opportunities in diverse classroom settings. I am dedicated to continuous professional development, communication with parents, accurate student assessment and providing relevant course materials for effective learning.
