I am currently Associate Professor in the Deptt. Of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, (working since 2007). Apart from diagnostic and laboratory work, I am also involved in teaching and other departmental academic activities. I teach both undergraduate courses (MBBS, BDS) as well as at postgraduate level (MD, MDS). Although I have experience in all subspecialities of pathology, my interest mainly lies in cytopathology and its pre operative diagnostic  applications in general and in breast and thyroid lesions in particular. Artificial intelligence and its application to pathological diagnosis is another area of interest . My academic papers have covered a variety of pathological conditions and have been published in both national and international journals of repute, such as Journal of Cytology, Diagnostic cytopathology and Archives of obstetrics and gynecology.
