I did my M.B.B.S and M.D. in Pediatrics from J.N. Medical College, A.M.U. and later D.N.B in Pediatrics. Thereafter, I worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Pediatrics, J.N. Medical College for 3 years. Before joining A.M.U. as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in 2005, I had also served as Assistant Professor in Himalayan Institute of Medical sciences, Dehradun. I am keenly interested in pursuing a career of teaching and research, and have presented original papers in various fora of Pediatrics. Though all aspects of Pediatrics fascinate me, my thrust areas in Pediatrics include Hemato-Oncology, nutrition, and infectious diseases. My scientific papers have been published in various journals including Archives of Diseases in Children, Indian Pediatrics, Journal of College of Physicians Surgeons of Pakistan etc. I have been guiding thesis of M.D. candidates, and am also a reviewer of journals.
