Dr. Mohd Yunus Khan obtained his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He was awarded the University Medal for securing first position in the M.Tech. Examination (2005). He subsequently earned his Ph.D. from Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh under the AICTE Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) in 2024, specializing in Advanced Manufacturing, under the distinguished supervision of Dr. P. S. Rao and Prof. B. S. Pabla. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Section at the University Polytechnic, AMU. Over the course of his academic career, he has taught a wide spectrum of subjects across Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) programmes.

Dr. Khan has made significant scholarly contributions through numerous research publications in reputed journals. His research interests encompass Advanced Manufacturing (Green Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing). He has also served as a reviewer for several esteemed academic journals. He has been instrumental in establishing the Alternative Fuels and Combustion Engineering Laboratory at the University Polytechnic, AMU, thereby contributing to experimental research and innovation. In addition, he is the author of three academic books. Dr. Khan is an active member of various professional engineering societies and has held several administrative positions at AMU, reflecting his commitment to academic leadership and institutional development.
