Er. Mohd Gulam Waris Khan is working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Section, University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh.
He has obtained B.Tech. (1st Division) in Chemical Technology-Plastic Technology from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) Kanpur and M.Tech. (1st Division With Honors) in Plastic Engineering from Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Lucknow, Department of Chemical & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemical & Fertilizers, Government of India. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D from Department of Chemical Engineering, A.M.U., Aligarh
Er. Khan has more than 10 years working experience includes Teaching, Research and Industry.
His area of interest includes Materials Science, Plastic Engineering and Industrial Management.
His areas of research are Polymer Composite and Plastic Waste Management.
He is teaching different theory and laboratory subjects of Mechanical Engineering Section at Diploma Engineering level and B.Voc. courses in Production & Polymer & Coating Technology.
He has holding responsibilities of Coordinator & Superintendent of Exams, B.Voc. Production Tech. Community College, Tabulator, Scrutinizer Examinations, Admission Verifying Officer, Member of Discipline/ Anti-ragging Committee at Mechanical Engg. Section, University Polytechnic.
Previously held responsibilities: Assistant Superintendent of Exams, In-Charge Practical Examination, In Charge Time Table Class/Labs/Workshop/Teachers, Assistant Training & Placement Officer at University Polytechnic.
He has published book chapters and research papers in various journals and conferences. .
He has organized various innovative workshops and conferences at University Polytechnic, AMU, Aligarh.
He has successfully guided about more than 10 projects of Diploma Engineering final year students.
